LA CHAPELLE NOTRE DAME DES CYPRES A FAYENCE PEUT ETRE VISITEE

Cette magnifique chapelle du XII siècle, fut l’église paroissiale jusqu’au XV siècle. Une église plus proche du village fut construite après la guerre de cent ans. C’est une construction romane, avec un retable du XVI SIECLE.

La chapelle jouxte le vignoble « Le clos Notre Dame ».

THE CHAPEL OF NOTRE DAME DES CYPRES IN FAYENCE IS OPEN TO VISITS EXCEPTIONALLY EVERY TUESDAY AFTERNOON FROM 3PM TO 6PM UNTIL 10/09

This magnificent 12th century chapel was the parish church until the 15th century. A church closer to the village was built after the Hundred Years War. It is a Romanesque construction, with an altarpiece from the 16th century.

The chapel adjoins the vineyard "Le Clos Notre Dame".
